Design:
I know that good web design is very important. I begin the process by asking you to complete a Website Planner. This ensures that I know from the outset what your likes and dislikes are and what would best suit your purposes, company or product. I believe in an in depth consultation with all my clients and proper planning of the website.
Domain Name & Registration:
Domain names are almost like a Post Code. Your website address (or domain) has to be unique and unlike any other. When you choose and register a domain it will be yours for as long as you continue to pay the annual fees (Free for the first year). I can arrange to check the availability of a domain name of your choice. If the name of your choice is taken you can try some variations of the name, maybe with a different spelling or a hyphen. The most popular domain ends with .com followed by .net and .org. Also differing countries have their own i.e.www. yoursite.co.uk. My advice here would be to keep it as short as possible and as meaningful as you can,as you want people to remember it! Once you have decided on the name you would like to give to your website address (domain name) I will register that for you.
Search Engine Submission:
When a website is created I take special care to optimize that site so that it will be found by search engines. This is done by a process of choosing good keywords, good meta tag composition, good title optimization and the creation of a sitemap. All this may well sound very technical and complicated to you but don't worry....... The main thing is that I know how vital this "behind the scenes stuff" is. All you really need to know is that I will make sure that all these areas are given the same amount of care and attention as the visual aspect of your website. I will submit your site to the search engines immediately upon completion. I generally manually submit to Google, Yahoo, MSN, Exite, and Ask Jeeves. I also do automated submissions using good professional Search Engine Submission software.
